Cows running down the streets of downtown Denver? How awesome is that!?
Until this year I had never gone to the Stock Show Parade. Growing up, every year we would go to the National Western Stock Show. My brother’s (John) birthday is in the middle of January so we would always go for his birthday. But I had never gone to the parade; in fact, I didn’t even know that there was a parade until a few years ago when my friend Katie went and told me about it.
Last week, I saw a news article about it and decided that this was the year to go. The weather was nice (nothing like typical Stock Show weather) and I didn’t have anything going on that day so there really wasn’t a reason not to go. So I texted my sister-in-law (Natalie) and we went with my nieces and my dad.

that I had gotten some pictures with my DSLR but I didn’t feel like fighting the crowd and wanted to just enjoy the time with my family, so they’re just cell phone photos but you get the idea. 🙂
