Instructions
  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef. While the meat browns, season it with a sprinkling of either salt and pepper or lemon pepper.
  2. After the meat has browned, drain the grease.
  3. To the browned beef, add the tomato sauce; fill the empty tomato sauce cans half-full with water, add to the pot.
  4. Add the diced tomatoes to the pot.
  5. Add the tomato paste to the pot; fill the empty tomato paste can completely full with water, add to the pot. Stir sauce well.
  6. Add the minced garlic and the herbs to the sauce. Stir well and bring to a boil. Once the sauce begins to boil, reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer.
  7. After the sauce has simmered for about 15 minutes add the sugar and the cheese. Stir well.
  8. Let sauce simmer for and additional 15 minutes or so and serve over your favorite pasta or veggie noodles.
Recipe Notes

Italian seasoning can replace the individual herbs for ease.  If using Italian seasoning add 2-3 Tablespoons.
